zanussi zwf 1632 washing machine fault?

hi we have a zanussi zwf1632 w washing machine which has developed a fault, the machine gets stuck at the end of each wash phase and will not automatically move on , we have to turn it off restart it then move it on manually, the machine is about 16 months old , any ideas appriciated

thanks, have followed ck,s advice but still no joy , will check heating element tommorow

This couold also be a heating element fault, the water not getting to temp will not move the timer on. Once this is fixed the machine will move on in the wash programme.

Worth checking out with a multi meter, across the heating terminals and earth. If open curcit the heating element is U/S replace.
