ford focus 2000 year 1.8 tdi throttle problem?

the throttle pedal seems to wobble the revs slightly up and down as you are driving and the car will often wilst driving go into tickover only, wont rev up and the glowplug light flashes if you turn it off and restart its ok till it does it again.

Almost certainley the accelerator position sensor on the throttle pedal,i have the same prob on my 2003 tdci .it seems a common problem on these fly by wire throttles, just waiting for a replacement to arrive, only 5 mins or so to replace whole pedal.Hope this helps.
