When I turn the key on my craftsman ride on mower the engine whirls but doesn't even attempt to engage at all. Any suggestions as to what may be wrong?
Either - the starter motor isn't spinning fast enough due to a discharged battery, or the drive gear that engages with the engine flywheel has worn down teeth. Both very common!
