I can't start my scooter by the usual method of holding in brake and using starter button - it sounds like the battery is dead. I don't know how this would have happened anyway? Please help!

Hi,
When you try and start it does the engine try to start but wont fire
OR
is there just nothing or a ticking noise or does the engine turn very slowly.
If it is the later I would suspect your battery and replace this. Electic starts need a lot of juice if your battery is old then may well be time to replace. Have you tried kick starting it?
If it is trying to start but just wont fire then could be several things.
Post a reply with a little more detail then may get a better feel of what is happening
