My Ariston induction hob has locked with 3 horizontal dashes (like E for error). How did this happen and how do I unlock it? The model is a spanish unit and I di not remember its number but it is about 3 years old.

Just remembered - we have found that it happens a lot less now that we have proper induction cooking cookware. I think it may relate to the pots not sitting evenly on the induction plate.

Mine does that occasionally too. It sometimes comes right by itself, other times not. I turn it off at the main wall switch for about 30 seconds and it comes good, but it still happens periodically. Big pain in the butt!!
