Everything Displayed By My icatch (VI) Pc Camera is green. . ?

My father was adjusting some options on my icatch (VI) PC Camera the other day (even though I told him it was a bad idea) and he somehow managed to give everything displayed on the camera a green overtone. I use windows xp home and am attempting to use my webcam thru msn messenger 7.5. Is there anyone out there that can help me with this? I'm sure it's as simple as changing an option in some menu somewhere but I'm stumped. thank you in advance.

Basically the camera is crop and not worth spending any time on it. If you have a partition on your computer drive then install it on the partition,ie not C.

im using the same camera.. it works fine with all the options 'IF' the proper driver is installed, in the proper manner. perhaps, i can send you a driver, if you don't have it.. just drop me a line anytime... my email: darwinuap@yahoo.com.ph

you installed the wrong driver.. 1. uninstall the device (device manager) 2. unplug it (camera) from the system 3. reinstall the driver (click set-up.exe inside '300k folder') use webcam driver installation disk 3. restart your computer 5. plug-in the device (icatch VI pc camera) ...'found-new-hardware wizard' should do the rest..

i am having the same problem

there are no options on my webcam window

The answer is simple:- even I was facing the same problem ... all u have to do is go to options on your webcam window, click on video capture filter, click on autoexposure type click on 50Hz, then click apply, then click on video proc amp, then click apply again, then click ok, and then rotate the black ring around your camera lens until you get a clear picture and there you go!

had mine do the same thing. I bought a nexxtech (CIF)usb cam
P/N:2516505 for $25.00. works beauty. My advice for buying cam is look for the microsoft logo and OS compatibility on the box before purchasing. bought it from The Source.

Mine's doing the same thing! I'm about ready to get another webcam because this one has made my computer crash numerous times due to the bug in the drivers.. grr.. I wish I had the answer to this, but I need help trying to get it to go back to normal too.
