i just bought a tata photon whiz. when i'm online my connection gets lost frequently(after every few minutes).then i've to reconnect it again.i don't know whether the problem is with modem or my computer(configuration).kindly advise me on the same.

Anyone who are happy with my solution for disconnecting problem please send your comments to my mail address (lokesh755 at gmail.com) so that I can be happy..

Problem : Tata photon disconnects for every 3-4 minutes. Basically that disconnects due to inactivity.

Solution: Download any file through torrent . Set the downloading speed in Bittorrent to 1KBps. So that your net connection is active always and will not disconnect unless you disconnect (LOL).

It's a virus. get some free antivirus to remove any Trojans/ Adware etc. one that works well for me is:
superantispyware- free to download from superantispyware.com. Once scanned- try and restore your system to a date before you first installed the TATA dialler.
And i'm not sure what's happening- but each time i dial up with the Photon Whiz- the virus comes right back. Need to firewall the Photon connection.
