Re: Heavy smoke coming from mower?

I am getting a lot of smoke from my lawn mower exhaust , it is a Briggs & Stratton 35 Classic engine and there seems to be some oil coming out too in the same vicinity, any ideas as to the cause/ remedy?

.....or that it has been tipped over, and simply needs to 'clear it's throat' - just let it run for 10 mins or so. If the smoke clears, stop the engine and check the oil level.

Check the oil level as its dead easy to overfill these, and they don't like it....if thats ok it could be that the motor is simply worn out.
