front fork seals?

how do i replace the front fork seals on a 1998 honda cbr600 is it an easy job or is it best sorted in a garage

Its not such a bad job - but if you don't feel like giving it a go then you can cut your costs dramatically by removing the fork legs yourself.....support the bike under the engine and remove the front wheel, brake calipers (tie them up) and mudguard. Then, release the clamping bolts (4) that hold the fork legs into the top yoke and pull each leg free - ready to be taken to a dealer or mechanic. Dont remove the top nut on the fork leg - the spring will pop out.
