how can i fix voice conversations?

hi i am having problems with msn voice coversations with some people it works but others it doesnt when i click on voice to have a conversatin it says connecting but doesnt connect then it sighns me out of msn can you help sort this out cheers

sounds like you could be using different versions of MSN
4.7 is incompatable with 7.1 for example..but not for text. just voice. etc.

Could be a firewall issue, could be that not all your friends have an operating system that can cope with MSN voice. Have you tried other voice software like Skype?
