i have had a new key orderd but Renault could not code it to the car . they state their diagnostics does not show any faults. i have replaced the coil, spark plugs and fuel cut out switch. the flashing light keeps flashing whilst trying to start the car. the engine is turning but not firing up. i have removed a spark plug and left it connected to the ht lead and tried to start the car, but their is no apparent spark coming from the coil pack to the plug! is their any other check any one has found to solve this problem as my local renault dealer in mansfield were no help at all.?

I have a clio 1.4 and to start I have to get in the car shut the door and before putting the key in to start if you use the plip to lock and then reopen the doors you watch the light and it will go off after a few seconds and you can then start the car. Hope this helps.
