My Zanussi Freezone Freezer Model 1033A (R134A) which is approx. 3 years old suddenly failed and caused all contents to defrost. The thermostat does not light up. Plug fuse is OK.

the thermostat doesn't light up???.I don't understand this statement.do you mean the bulb in the thermostat housing or are you saying with the thermostat switched on that the compressor doesn't start up?.if it doesn't start up but the light comes on it is most likely to be the thermostat that has failed and will need replacing.Hope this helps you out!
