how do i get into back of creda tr6 to fit belt?

i need to replace belt but cannot see how to get right inside thanks simon

You get in from the front. In my model you remove the four screws at the bottom front and the two screws at the bottom sides adjacent. The front then lifts like a door for some 30 degrees and you place a piece of timber or similar to keep it wedged open. Place the new belt round the top of the drum into its running position, prise open the tensioning spring holding the pulleys and engage the belt on the motor V drive shaft, then release the pulleys. Drop the front back into the its driving position, relocate to the drum and test by turning by hand. Refit the screws. All a bit fiddly! Beware, some of the companys selling the spares charge up to £19.00 for the belt inc. p&p. I got a new one at Amazon £5.99 inc. p&p.

Hi Simon, if you need to ask, get an engineer to do it as it is a pain, see other answers I have given people. If you do attempt it make sure you have a cardbourd box for all the screws you have over at the end [and you will have].
