how do i sync my astra kay after replacing the battery? ?

my car key battery ran out so i have replaced it but i now need to snyc the key to the car and i have no idea how to do it! any help?? ?

Turn on ignition (dash lights on, do not start engine).
Press lock button on key fob, doors should lock and unlock.
Turn off ignition.
Key is now re-set.
You may have to try a few times before it works.
