buy a set of riser handlebars, good sets are available on www.chainreactioncycles.com
dmr wingbars are the best option imo and they look good riser bars too

generally, you change the height of your handlebars by getting a new stem, or getting an adjustable stem. fitting a bike can be pretty difficult, requiring patience, repeated testing, and learning proper bike posture. Don't spend money on a new stem thinking it will solve all your problems. you may need to move your seat back/forward or up/down, or get a different kind of handlebars.
