My filter light stays on but has been cleaned and not heating up. ?

Can anyone help? Somone said about a trip switch, I can't find one on the dryer anywhere.

You don't say what make ? but from experience on hoover machines when filter light stays on and filters are clean this is usually the heater itself is dead, usually replacing the heater assembly cures this
