kenwood prospero KM260?

My kenwood prospero KM260 will pulse but when you turn it on will start to move then stop. This happens on any speed you select. Any ideas?

Thanks

what is the problem

I also have the same problem, thought there was a problem from first use of machine as it seemed to keep stalling. then on the fifth time of trying to use it , the machine stopped alltogether, from loads of internet searches it seems to be a recurring problem. The machine is now gathering dust in a cupboard. From what I can gather it's going to cost more to repair than replace, but am phoning kenwood tomorrow just to check.

We bought the same model a year ago, it started running two fast while dowing flour, even less quantity it is cuassing this issue. Called ken wood and suggested to take it to service center as I just crossed my one year warranty period. I wonder why we should invest in product by looking in to brand name and they fail in relatively very less service time.

Does any body facing the same problem.

I brought it for service in Kenwood. Unfortunately its the 5th time in a 18 months period that i face the same specific problem as you do. The technicians replaced the circuit board twice. It works for a while and then it becomes malfunctioned again. Hoping to have news ASAP, in order to get rid of the need to buy a new one. I have the warranty conrtact so i dont have to pay for the damage .

I have the similar problem, it starts fine but if you turn it off and then try to turn it on again it starts to move then stops. When I took it to be looked at they have told me it is faulty motor.. currently trying to decide if it worth fixing as the cost isn't that much less than I can get a new one for..
