vectra diesel 2.0 dti 2000 ?

starts and drives ok then when you accelorate to about 3000 revs it seems to hold back then management light comes on leave it 1o mins restsart light goes out until you accelorate hard again can any one help

it sounds like it is the turbo aquator its on the left hand side of engine compartment it looks like a little black pot with 2 thin pipes coming off it and a plug hope it helps

i have had this done the person said it was egr valve clogged with carbon and to remove it and clean it which i have done its made it a bit better but not cured it .

If the eml has been on, a fault code will have been stored.
You have to get it plugged in to diagnostics to find what fault code(s) have been stored.
That is the whole point of the system.
