how can i fix my corsa sport?

i have a corsa sport 1.4 16v ecotec but when you start it, it starts up fine but when you rev it, it will only rev upto 4000rpm and that is the rev limit! and when you drive it it feels like there is now power?

yes the eml is on but that is because my imobaliser has been by-passed so is on when the engine is running, and no my exhaust isnt blocked.

Is the Engine Management Light (eml) on when the engine is running?
Does the eml perform its self test, ie come on with the ignition then go off when the engine is started?
Has the car ever been serviced?
Have you checked for a blocked exhaust?
