The problem with Ford transit T350 90ps is the Electronic side of the fuel pump, it has happend to many of my customers, 95 out of 118 90ps transits with this problem have been that!!
Now you want to know what to do... Well here it is ... Step 1. Remove your Bosch fuel pump from your transit (Expert only can do this) Step 2: goto www.dieselpumprepairs.com and fill out a submission form, plus have a look round there web site!! Best thing is ... No problem .. No charge!!!!! then once they have repaired it refit it, put it on a GOOD code reader and clear all faults. Ohh and whilst it is off Take the EGR valve off, goto motorsave and buy a big tin of carb and choke cleaner and clean your egr out compleatly but DO NOT touch the sensor inside it with anything (you can spray it) this will use 80%of the tin to clean.. then refit everything and hey presto good as new!!
Here is a couple of things to check out on these as well : check battery terminals, Make sure it is a very tight and CLEAN fit...
Look under the bonnet and make sure everysensor is in and on securly. (especailly the one at the very front above the radiator, will have a long cable going from one side of engine to the top of the sensor, they F**k up all the time, and have been known to throw other sensors off..
Finally either upgrade your fuel filter housing (air leak) or if a bit skint put something round it to make an airtight seal between the filter and the housing, But remember you do need to change the filter every 6000 or so miles!!.
