How can I remove the glass dome from my Neff Oven U1644?

The dome will only turn about a quarter of an inch and then seems to hit a stop. I have tried applying white vinegar and lemon juice without success

I have had exactly the same with my (just over of course) 2 year old 550 pound Neff U1422 double oven.
As 75 year old pensioner's we rarely use the main oven -but 99% the small oven.
The light has failed in this latter oven and will not budge at all.
Neff tell my the same all of you above Vinegar, heat, plastic gloves and strap wrench etc plus the glass could break. CHARMING.
They say it is hard grease. I now have a couple of good blisters to prove my (unsuccessful) efforts.
unshakable and excellent grounds that the main oven is 100% pristine ...and guess what...the glass dome is exactly the same...will only move that fraction.
They dodged the 'pristine' glass in the main oven question, which I claimed to them proves that this is a 'design' fault.
Any other ideas please? It all on the strap wrench now ...... or does anyone know differently. Can Neff be more helpful with this. They should be.

I have the same problem. The quarter inch turn may be a slight movement in the overall housing of the unit rather than the glass dome itself. Neff advised me to get a strap wrench like the ones used to open bottles or to heat up the oven to 50 degree C and try unscrewing (anti clockwise) with rubber gloves. I haven't tried the strap yet but heating the oven didn't work. I have even tried tapping the grips on the dome with a piece of wood and hammer. Still did not budge.
