When one pulls the slider back to load the gun, the ball goes into place but the trigger is limp. Suggestions please and how do I get the gun open?

Attempt only if you're a "dab hand" at fixing stuff.
If I remember, you undo the screws along the gun, I think you have to take off the hand grip to get to the screws under it.
Important....The firing mech. is worked by springs...so, make a sketch of where bits go before dismantling it.
