Maytag clothes washer, new pump and belt, clothes were wet after spin cycle?

Maytag washer Model Number MAV6000AWW
Problem: Filling and agitation are fine. Most water is drained out, but clothes (only one towel) are very wet after spin cycle. After replacing new pump and new belt, the problem was the same. Anything else can I do? Pleas advise me. Thank you very much. Adam

I have a very similar problem with the same machine (MAV6000AWW).
It does spin, but it's slow, and when shut off manually the drum stops quickly with a screech.
The clothes are too damp after they are done, but the pump seems to be working properly, so I feel it might have something to do with the main drive of the drum.
Help please.

Start with the obvious thing first. Is it actually spinning? Put it on final spin & open lid during the cycle to see if bowl is actually spinning fast. If bowl spins fast, spins for a reasonably long period & no water sprays in during the final spin then the clothes should be dry when it stops. You only need to determine which of these three things are not happening.
