noise from exaust 2000 vw passat 1.8 20v?

theres a rattle noise from the exaust ive had my middle and rear box done and the problem still there .could you help

Maybe its the heat shield thats above the exhaust pipe - or give the catalytic converter a thump and see if the rattle is from there. Make sure its cold though!
