there is an orange light come on its like a tank with a star in the middle ive checked water. what could it be ? and how could i fix it?

engine managment light need to put on computer to find fault if with the rac call them tell them u scared to drive it they will come out if u have a member ship and put on computer free of charge ,could be a number of things and that is why the light comes on and tells u the car is not feeling well before damage gets done
