My Aqalisa Classic 200 wont turn off?

I cannot get my Aqalisa Classic to turn off. I am suspicious that the cartridge need replacing. I have isolated it but need to repair. The current cartridge is grey but I might have a combi boiler fitted at a later date. Firstly is it possible to repair the cartridge? Secondly, if I replace my grey cartridge with a pink one (for a combi) now, can I still use it with an ordinary system until I change the boiler?

The simple answers are no and no! The cartridge is a sealed unit and cannot be repaired. A pink cartridge will resist the high flow rate from a combi boiler and what you will get at best is a trickle of water from a gravity fed system.
I agree with Bob and and glad Trampus09 didn't work on my house!

The cartridge for an Aqualisa Classic is nothing to do with the boiler. It is a thermostatic cartridge which regulates the flow of hot and cold water and works like a mixer tap. An ex-plumber should know this!

HI There
It is dangerous to mess with the boiler if you don't no what you are doing
