i have just changed my nintendo ds shell. when i have gone to turn on the green light comes on for a few seconds the bottom screen flickers twice and it goes off. the charger appears to work.
yer it will be ribbon if it not pushed right in it will just flash on for one seconed and then got of push it right in . the same thing happend to me giave it a go

sounds like the ribbon cables for either the top bottom or touch screen arent connected properly
