How can I remove the battery spring on my Crane & Viceroy watch?

The watch is a Crane & Viceroy radio controlled type with four buttons in total (two on each side). I can't see how to lift the spring which holds the battery in place as the clip goes down the side between the case and the inards. Is it necessary to lift the inside in order to unhook the clip?

It is not necessary to remove the inside from the case.
Use a very small screwdriver to lever the clip outwards that goes between the case and the watch mechanism. It is very difficult to see the latch because of the narrow gap.
It was then easy to reset the time by following the instructions i.e. set fingers to 12 o'clock position etc. It took some time to display the correct time.
