206 will not start?

My 206 sometimes starts OK, but every now and then it will not. Battery seems dead. No engine turrnover, clicking noise, indicator dials(petrol etc) pull to zero e for a slight moment. Have to jump start or push.

You don't say how old the car is. If it about 7 years old and on the original battery then you'll be about due for a new one. They don't last for ever. When you put the headlights on before you start it, are they bright, or do they dim fairly quickly. That would indicate low battery.

Of course if the battery is newer than that then it could be the charging system - alternator. Or if the car is a 2004 model and has been used for short runs then the starter motor could be at fault.

You tell us nothing whatsoever about your 206 so it is difficult to diagnose just like that.
