A funny noise has just been coming through from my Ford Mondeo, I had a neighbour check it for me, and it turned out to be a broken foil, I have not been able to check the car in to a garage, the earliest appoinment is Friday. How safe it is to drive a car when the front coil is broken?

the answer is you should not drive the car as a broken suspention spring/coil will affect the road stability of the vehicle
and the distance the car will take to stop also the steering and tyers will be damaged.
