digital mileage counter gone?

The car is peugeot 206 1.4 fever 04
Recently the digital mileage clock or counter went out just is blank so tried to replace relevent fuses nothing
Also tried to take the electrical block apart that fits onto dash where dials are etc but its fused or very very stubborn
Is this a ECU issue, or alternator all other electrics work just the counter has gone it has to be restored so it will pass MOT

it's just a small bulb behind the speedo that has gone, common fault on these cars. 2 min job.

SNIPER, March 2013
This is a common problem on older 206's. It is just a bulb that needs replacing.

There is no bulb its illuminated orange but there definatly is no bulb???
Its not the digital clock in the middle of dash its the actual mileage little bar above all the speedometer etc rev counter
Its connected via a electrical block

probably just bulb gone. remove clocks and try swapping bulb at back with another one. (remember where it came from before removing to swap!)
