My rover 218 sd has 126000 miles on the clock,it just had a recent cambelt change. Its a 1995 model, what mileage do you experts reckon i should get out of a bulletproff engine like this?

You see 500,000+ mileage diesel taxi's. thats small mileage for a diesel.

I had a Pug 306 1.4 XL which did 145,000 miles and still going strong, and that was Petrol.

Modern diesels are very long lived if treated right. Regular fuel, air & oil filter changes prolong the life of any engine but particularly diesels. 200-250,000 miles is not uncommon!
