drum in washing machine not moving ?

My Indesit omega 1200 drum not moving, the machine is around five years old. I have a washing in the machine at the moment no other faults.

interlock on the door may be faulty slam it a few times this may free it or may be main motor speed control.

It sounds like the drum belt has come off. Switch off and unplug the machine. Pull out the machine and open up from the back, you should be able to see the drum and belt easily. Hopefully the belt has just come off and not snapped.
