vauxhall vectra 1.6 16valve ecotec p reg?

the car keeps idleing up and down ive tested the valves and the ht leads and spark plugs and breather pipes. and they are all ok. is there a electrical component that controls the idle tick over .that could be causeing this.

Replace the MAF sensor. This can solve the problem.

My 1.8 p reg Vectra ecotec throttle body gets gummed up with the fog that is vented into the intake from the crankcase breathing system, the butterfly throttle unit has an idle valve (left side of throttle butterfly) as you look under bonnetthat is operated electrically by the engine control unit, this will need cleaning thouroughly with solvent and small hole into body from breather pipe, I used celulose paint thinners, now engine runs fine.
