How do i remove the hub from peugeot 406?

I have dropped the strut, i have split the ball joints, i cut off the drop link. How do i get the calliper off? Do i need a large allen key or a torque? What size of nut is the big hub nut? Do i need to do anything else to remove the full assembly

i never thought of that. Thanks again. I will crimp and cut hose from caliper and change everything.

if the new part already has caliper housing fitted you could leave it on (unless disc is worn).

Thanks for that. I'm swapping the complete strut from another scrap 406. The one i drives wheel bearing has gone. The scrap has a new strutt and spring. I want to remove strut, spring and hubb replace bearing and fit onto my driver. Got the hub nut just need to buy torx.

caliper can be removed by undoing 13mm bolt, swinging up and pulling out. caliper housing is held on by torx 55 bolts. depends why you are removing it if you need to undo these two bolts. hub nut is 35mm. track rod end on steering requires removing, bottom ball joint and strut retaning bolts.
