You can't "mend" a burn - the heat destroys the material - skin will grow back but shirts don't grow (actually most of my clothes seem to be growing lately) - Consider a disguise - best is a sew on patch or badge - a felt tip pen might work but colo(u)r match is difficult. I have a fleece with a badge that proclaims my membership of the Berkshire Girl Guides - I'm a 63 year old man - it's like being a transvestite.
