Do you know if the motor is turning when you spin the drum? if not, the belt is broken, if it is then it will probably need a capacitor. If it needs a belt pay an engineer to do the job or you will end up with with a tumble dryer that is fit for the tip as it is a pain even for an expert, even replacing the capacitor can be a pain if you are a novice, so my advice is spend a little and save a lot [get an engineer to do it] trust me the amount of times I have someone purchase a belt and say "I am going to give it a go, it cant be hard" and then turn up with a box of bits that are mostly broken or bent is incredible.
