How do you know the battery is ok, have you tested it with a meter?

funny noise clicking or grinding
grinding noise = damaged started pinion or engine ring gear
clicking noise may be due to lack of voltage at the starter has the battery voltage been checked when cranking should be 9.5 volts as a very min
if ok at battery check again at the starter
still ok poor starter strip and clean or fit new
very low voltage at starter check conections on battery and back to car clean and shiny good green and fury bad
