I have an old ADT Safewatch Pro 2000 Home security system. My back-up battery was low and system kept chiming so I pulled the plug when I went away for 2 wks. I have now replaced the battery. When I plug it in and attach battery the system comes up but then goes into a mode which signal reads "Busy Standby E4" How do I reset?
According to my owner's manual for the Safewatch Pro 2000, it says that if a Busy-Standby message is displayed for more than 1 minute, the system is disabled and you should call for service immediately.
