You will need to remove the 5 or 6 screws from bottom of the base. Then, pull upward on the base top (where the back wheels are located) to take the top cover off. You will need to remove a small phillips head screw from either side of the brush roller. Then pull out the brush roller, inspect for excessive bearing wear, and clean as necessary. Install new belt onto brush roller and motor gear and place brush roller back into base. Tighten (not too tight!) small phillips screws back into thier holes to secure brush roller ends.
