How do I get it running?

I purchased a Weed Eater trimmer last year and about two weeks after I began using it it just died and since then won't even turn. I noticed that the shaft is loose and I believe that might have something to do with it. I'm not very adept at fixing these kinda problems. How do I get it running?

The first thing to check is if it is getting spark. Remove the sparkplug, put it back on the wire, then hold the sparkplug against metal on the weedeater. Have someone pull the cord. You will be able to see if it is getting spark. If it is then you have a fuel issue. If it isn't, then I am going to guess that if the shaft came loose if pulled a wire or is grounding itself out
