why wont my piaggio nrg 56 start?

When i try to start my piaggio nrg 56 on the electric start it just makes a clicking noise. Iv tryed the earth wire but that didn't work can you help please. Cheers

I have tryed that and also putting another battery in there to but nothing happens just the same clicking noise.

your battery sounds as though it is dead or needs a charge. Try charging it electric starts take a lot from battery.
