how can i fix my smeg dish washer?

i have a full size smeg dish washer when it is on the drying stage at the end of the wash it overheats and trips the electrics. there is also an electrical burning smell. does it have a thermostat that controlles the drying stage, could this be at fault.

Burning smell spells danger, don't use it. Yes there is a thermostat & yes it can fail. However the problem is almost certainly more complex. My two cents...get a qualified service technician to look at it.
