how to fix rotating hook bobbin winder lever for singer sewing machine 2010?

The lever is really loose on my machine and now the thread will not wind around the bobbin. Please help.

When I press the pedal the bobbin is not rotating and neither is the main drive belt attached to it, although
noticed that the motor drive belt is working.

Take the bottom off the machine and you can get to the screw to tighten it.
