put switch on right to clock position, set time using + & - buttons, put switch on right to prog position, choose 'on' time using + & - buttons, press P, choose 'off' time, press P and so on, move switch to run position, set switch on left to auto. for extra on & off times not required set on & off to same time; i.e. on at 12:00 off at 12:00.
