Yep thats your MIL or malfunction indicator lamp, which tells you that your car has developed a fault in either its ignition, fuel or exhaust systems. The good news is that a garage with the suitable diagnostic equipment can interrogate your cars on board computer, and tell you what the fault is - and recommend a cure. After the work is done, they can turn the lamp back off again.
