repair to pcb ?

I have a faulty non switch side pcb. Can it be repaired.

If you are ever asked to repair these - don't bother. Often its the swivelling wire connection at the handle end and getting spares is nigh on impossible. Regards, J

Bizaare

a basic bi-metal thermostat switch would be more simple and cheaper - I blame the marketing department asking the product developers to do silly things

Thanks for the intelligence on this

They do indeed have a timer and a thermostat, Mr. P. - together with a tiny switch and LED within the opening handle.

You can often repair PCBs - depends on the nature of the fault but the general case is yes - but first you must diagnose the fault - find out what's failed.

Do you really have hair straighteners with a PCB?
