What can you do to fix lights, the machine had a leaky hose so it wouldnt empty...fixed leaky hose. ten minutes later the lights went out the machine stayed on a rinse till we switched machine off now it doesn't work at all....when you press buttons they just beep! Any ides?

I had similar problems, called out the Hotpoint man on my maintenance contract. He replaced a pump and another device, but I was not convinced that this was the solution.

There are codes that can be interpreted by Hotpoint to diagnose faults.

My problem started with a cleaner that foamed.
