Valliant Turbo Max Non Condensing RS boiler?

I have hot water but no CH. The CH turns on and temp rises to 79 degrees and then starts to drop and the CH seems to switch off. Could it be the sensor?

could be the diverter also could be a blocked inline strainer check on return pipe to see if one fitted check all rads open

it would be more likely the divertter valve which switches from hot water to central heating
