how to fix a heated reat window on a 97 ford galaxy?

i have a 97' glx ford galaxy and the heated rear window does not work.When pressing the switch,the relay clicks but the rear window does not de-mist. what could be the problem?

pull the rubbers back and check the wiring that goes to the rear tailgate from the car pillars.look for brokn wires.also check fuse
